A 24-year-old man, was arrested in Lambeth for suspected robbery and assault and a woman, 23 was arrested for suspected conspiracy to commit robbery. They both are still being held, the force said.
The arrests follow a probe into an assault at the multi-level parking garage at Heathrow's Terminal 3 on Sunday. Before the attack, two women were robbed of their luggage after getting out of a car park lift.
A three-year-old girl was one of the injured during the incident. Five people went to hospital for medical care and were later discharged.
Officers arrested a man in his thirties for suspected theft and assault near the location. He has since been released pending further inquiries while inquiries continue.
Authorities were alerted at about 8:10 in the morning GMT following reports of a number of individuals injured by a noxious substance thought to be pepper spray.
The attack - an event that police said was a standalone incident and not considered an act of terror - resulted in train delays and the temporary shutdown of the main airport tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking facility for a short time.
