Fantastic $30 Cartography Software Bundle Is a Virtual Tabletop GM's Dream

After a brief run earlier this year, this cartography software collection has returned with an encore that lasts through early December. Hailed as a "treasure trove of assets and apps" developed by ProFantasy Software over the years, the complete package is valued at more than thirteen hundred dollars. And there are three different bundles offered in this deal.

The Main Attraction

The standout feature is definitely a lifetime license to the CC3+ software, an industry-standard cartography program which enables users to generate various types including epic fantasy landscapes, detailed regional charts, urban layouts, and, perhaps most importantly, tactical combat environments.

Package Levels

Basic Package

The most affordable option, at a minimum cost of $1, includes only four of the 39 total items: Symbol Set 1: Fantasy Overland, Token Treasury: Monsters 1, Castle Source Maps, and Source Maps: Cities!. This package suits cartographers who already have CC3+, but it does offer fresh fantasy design elements for overworld maps, over seven hundred fifty creature tokens for use in virtual tabletops, over twenty-five aerial castle designs including hundreds of map markers, eight fully mapped cities, plus seventy-plus building interiors.

Intermediate Package

The eight-product collection for at least $15 offers enhanced value by adding in a lifetime CC3+ license, Cartographer's Annual Vol 1, Tome of Ultimate Mapping, Isometric Cities Symbol Pack. The Annual represents the yearly bundle from ProFantasy's long-running monthly subscription service featuring multiple CC3+ enhancements including map packs and various other tools. The Isometric Cities enables present urban areas in 3D perspective with isometric views from all sides. And the Tome of Ultimate Mapping is a 760-page for beginners and "power users" alike, full of tips and tutorials for the map-making process.

Every volume of Cartographer's Annual are included here, alongside a slew of additional tools and content that can help users design entire planets or galaxies, or just go all-in on traditional fantasy world-building: battle maps, dungeons, cities, and continents from almost any perspective. You can even design character portraits. For $30 as opposed to $15, the complete collection is so worth it, particularly for mappers who have only the annual CC3+ license and want to upgrade to lifetime. However, it's clearly an even better deal for map-making newbies since it includes the beginners' tutorials to help you get started. The one caveat here though you can redeem the deal across platforms, the software is only usable with Windows systems.

Philanthropic Aspect

As with other Humble Bundles, a portion of each sale supports charitable organizations. For this one, the beneficiary is Save the Children, established in 1919 by Eglantyne Jebb dedicated to enhancing children's welfare globally via educational programs, medical services, and crisis response.
